background-of-playing-cardsThis tablet has been nothing short of awesome and I mean AWESOME for the money.  We got it a little over a year ago now and I have 3 kids – 4, 6 and 8 years old.  They all play games on it very hard and it has taken a beating!  We did get a cover for it and my wife got the attachable keyboard but this tablet has got me sold out on Asus.

My mother in law got my two oldest children a Google pad from Walmart and literally they lasted less then a week and both screens were cracked.  Also we could not download apps without registering our credit card – none sense this is.  So the poor kids had nothing to play.  (I realize gaming is not only what tablets are for).

We have the Asus Transformer 16 GB and it owes us nothing at all.

One thing amazing about the tablet is that when we have been playing a complicated game we would hit the back and restart button over and over over again for hours and it never locks up.  I mean it’s simply amazing!

The battery life is excellent it has to be worked hard to run out completely.  Picking up WiFI   has been excellent also.

It also has been extremely to use I happen to be a huge fan of the Android system but everything was pretty easy for us.

This was not a cheap tablet when we bought it but I have to tell you for the price it’s well worth it!

Does anyone else have and Asus Transformer?  Have you had a similar positive experience or poor one?  Thanks for taking the time to share!

Is It the Most Awesome Tablet So Far!  The New Kindle Fire HD?  Yes it could be!  The expert reviews are excellent and for good reason.

I will share some of the high points of this incredible tablet!

First it’s the fastest Wi-Fi Tablet on the market.  I know that’s not important to anyone LOL!    Well it’s one of the most important things there are – SPEED.  I’m a speed junkie when it comes to my computer and tablets, well OK, my wife’s tablet.  But more speed is what everyone want’s.

Then there is the high definition screen which seems to be the best by far reducing glares and reflections at every angle.  The colors are deep and wow you.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE Wireless, Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 32 GB

Amazon is boasting awesome and a loud sound quality that is the best coming at you with no distortion.  I can’t wait to there this!  Amazon describes it as “booming”  I’ve never heard what they are describing without distortion.  Time will tell because with time will come reviews!!

The battery life is also supposed to be outstanding.

The power is of the Kindle Fire HD is being compared to the other high end devices.  Everything you want to do is supposed to be quicker and gaming is should be exceptional. And to me this not only means being very fast, but not locking up or pausing.

The two most exciting reviews I will be looking forward to will be the speed and the High Definition screen.  They both excite me very much.  But like I always say, time will tell……………because it always does!

The Samsung Galaxy S III – None Like it Until Now

The Samsung Galaxy S III is simply awesome!  No phone is like it and no phone is so amazing.

Here are only a few awesome things about this incredible Galaxy.  First of all the Galaxy is offered through AT&T, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Sprint and T-Mobile so you can get the best phone through the best carrier in your opinion.  Samsung knows how to spread the wealth which is awesome on their side.  Good for you Samsung!  Thank you for making this awesome phone available to most everyone!

The specs of the amazing Galaxy S III are far too many to mention in one post.  But I will attempt to scratch the surface.

The Galaxy S III is capable of watching movies or anything you want in High Definition!  And with a 4.8 inch screen you don’t need a television or pc tablet any longer LOL.  It’s incredible.

The style is gorgeous.  The speed is incredible.  Oh and what about the camera?  Well let’s see………………The camera has 8.0 megapixels and no shutter lag at all – none!  What does this mean?  First it means that as soon as you take the picture it will immediately capture your photograph.  With this Galaxy, gone are the times when you try to take a picture with your camera and by the time it “snaps” your child is out of the frame or event is no longer taking place!  That will not be the phones fault any longer if you are using the Galaxy S III.  You can also take 20 pictures if you want with in a matter of seconds.

Then I can’t leave out the fact that you can do almost anything on the device simply with your voice.  Just speak it and it will do it.  Galaxy outdid themselves this time!

Life is precious and so are your kids.  Here are few few must have apps to protect them:

1.  Picture Alert:  This app is incredible!  If your kids take any pictures or videos on their phone they are automatically sent to your email address.  That’s amazing I think.  Is it going overboard?  Not in this society it’s not.  There is so much junk out their today unless you don’t really care you should at least be somewhat aware of what images you child is viewing.  The app is only $1.99

2.  Nearparent:  This app is free and you should look more into it at http://nearparent.com/  The app lets you know where you child is, makes it easy for them to let you know also.  And they can send alerts out which you can track.  Almost like neighborhood alerts.  The alerts are green, yellow and red.  Green is just them checking in with you.  Yellow is a need they have that can wait a little while.  And a red alert is a more urgent situation.  Red means you child needs help as soon as possible.  Visit their website to learn more about it – a great Android App to help protect your kids.

3.  Last is the SafetyWeb Parent App.  This app is excellent because it encompasses both cell phones and computers and monitors chats, texts, social activity and almost anything that could endanger you child in anyway.
